Ina Lou Snyder

Ina Lou Snyder, 97, of Owensboro, Passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare-Hillcrest. She was born on July 17, 1916 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Willie P. and Eula Barnhill Karn. She was retired from Owensboro National Bank and was a member of First Baptist Church. Ina enjoyed reading, baking cookies, and flowering gardening, especially raising her roses. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hilton M. Snyder on August 5, 1991, a brother, Edgar Karn, a sister, Evelyn Tichenor, and a grandson, Brian Snyder.
Surviving are her daughter, Joyce Snyder of Owensboro, two sons, Glenn Snyder and wife Mary Ann of Owensboro and Larry Snyder and wife Nodene of Houston, TX, four grandchildren, Robert Snyder and wife Michele of Floyds Knobs, IN, Laura Snyder of Owensboro, David Snyder and wife Jennifer of Houston, and Bruce Snyder and wife Marcie of Maryland, and five great- grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
