Ina Marie Murphy

Ina Marie Murphy, 76, of Owensboro went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Murphy was born September 7, 1942 in Pawnee, Illinois to the late Gladys Morgan. Ina's life revolved around her faith and her family. She expressed her love and affection to her four children, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren in raising, babysitting and caring for them all. Her faith was shown in her faithful membership at Immanuel Baptist Church and in teaching Sunday School for many years. Ina was a very joyful, energetic, and outgoing person who reached out to all she knew.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Debbie Shouse and husband Kirt, Rochelle Statts and husband Richard II both of Owensboro; sons, Bill Roller of Smyrna, Tennessee and Dan Murphy (Charlene Grillo) of Lynn, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Angel Epison (Brandon), Leslie Robertson (Randall), Shelby Shouse, Makayla Shouse, and Richard Statts III; great grandchildren, Isaac and Elijah Arnold, Christian and Zion Crite, Israel and Abrielle Epison; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be noon Friday, September 28 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Jerry Lambrich officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am till time of service. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
