Ignatius Roy Payne, Jr., 70, of Owensboro, died Thursday, March 13, 2003 at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Calhoun. The Daviess County native was a farmer, member of the St. Stephen Cathedral, and enjoyed collecting antiques and old coins..
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph R. Payne and James B. Payne both of Owensboro; two sisters, Margaret Terry and Mary E. Lighton both of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:30 A.M. Friday, March 14, 2003 at the Resurrection Cemetery in Philpot. There will be no visitation. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
