Ida Geraldine Wyatt

Ida Gayle Geraldine "Gerri" Wyatt, age 77 of Owensboro passed away on Sunday, December 09, 2012 surrounded by family. She was born December 27, 1934 in Daviess County to the late James Edward Bryant and Virginia Lee Hester.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years; Jack Wyatt, her son; James David Wyatt, her brothers; Donald Ray Bryant and Joseph William Bryant.
She enjoyed crafting ( cross stitching and crochet), she also enjoyed walking the church at Hall Street Baptist Church with many of her friends. She provided for her family working as a nursing assistant at Mercy Hospital until her retirement in 1986. Her finest achievement was raising five children. She attended church at the Salvation Army.
She is survived by 3 loving sons; Jackie Wyatt ( Theresa) of Owensboro, Rodney Wyatt ( Nina) of Owensboro, Todd Wyatt ( Shelley) of Owensboro, One loving daughter; Debra Wyatt of Owensboro. She is also survived by one sister; Gola ( Ray) Proctor of Carpentersville, IL. Her grandchildren; Sam Wyatt (Lori), Tim Wyatt, Spencer Eade, Hunter Eade, Jena Wilkerson, Thomas and Ginger Eade, Erin Rose Wyatt and Emily Marie Wyatt; three great-grandchildren, Tanner Wilkerson, Jackson Samuel Wyatt, Blake Andrew Wyatt along with numerous foster grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery following services. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00PM on Monday and after 9AM on Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
