Ida Marian Horton

Ida Marian Horton, 74, of 12322 Bishops Court, Plymouth, IN,passed away Saturday, October 2, 2004 at 8:00 PM at Millers Merry Manors in Plymouth, IN, after an eight month battle with lung cancer. She was born December 1, 1929 in Owensboro, KY to Fred and Sue W. White. Ida had lived in Owensboro most of her life. She then moved to Lexington, KY in 1994 before relocating to Plymouth in February, 2004. Ida worked through most of the 1980s as head of housekeeping at the Executive Inn Rivermont. She was interested in reading, sewing, politics and going discount shopping. Ida was a devoted grandmother to Chara and Chad Ballog of Plymouth, which she adored.

Survivors include two daughters, Deb Ballog and her husband, Bill, and her grandchildren, Clara and Chad, all of Plymouth; Robyn Horton of Lexington; two sisters, Virginia Murray and Judy Bazemore, both of Owensboro; many nieces and nephews, all of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2004, at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
