Ida Wilma Clements

June 15, 1917 — June 4, 2004

Ida Wilma Medlin Clements, 86, died Friday, June 4, 2004 at her home in Owensboro. Born in McLean County, she was retired from Toolco where she was a secretary. Mrs. Clements was a member of the First General Baptist Church and served as the church secretary from its founding until 198943 years. She was also a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class; was a former Sunday School teacher ; and member of the Fanny Holder Womens Missionary Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard A. Clements on March 18, 2001.

She is survived by a daughter, Sally Ann ( and her husband Homer) Barnett of Owensboro; a son, Joseph Willard ( and his wife Mary Lyn) Clements of Evansville; four grandchildren, Sheena Gayle and Troy Lee Barnett of Owensboro and Mary Catherine and Christopher Joseph Clements of Evansville.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Monday, June 7, 2004 at the First General Baptist Church, 620 Maple Ave., Owensboro, KY. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 1-6 P.M. on Sunday, June 6, 2004 and after 9 A.M. on Monday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Oakland City University, Oakland City, IN or to the First General Baptist Church Building Fund.
