Hunter Ford Jackson, 6, Owensboro went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2015, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY, on August 19, 2008. Hunter attended First Baptist Church with his mom and was a 2nd grade student at Estes Elementary School. He was a dedicated UK basketball fan, and never left the house without his favorite toy, his Kindle. Hunter's two favorite pastimes were playing with his Xbox 360 at his dad's house and playing with his cousins' everyday at his Aunt Judy's house.
Survivors include his parents, Helen Jackson and Bobby Jackson; brother, Lincoln Cole Jackson; grandparents, R.C. and Mary Cooney of Owensboro, Bill and Juanita Jackson of Utica and Ray and Cindy Mayes of Henderson; aunts and uncles, Terry and Jill Cooney, Chrissy and Brad Sapp, and J.D. and Leigh Ann Benningfield; and many cousins and friends.
Services will be at Noon on Thursday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery.
