Homer T. Taylor

Homer T. Taylor Jr., 83, of Owensboro, KY passed away October 21, 2015 while in the care of Western Kentucky Veteran's Center. He was born December 4, 1931 to the late Homer Sr. and Elizabeth Taylor. Homer was a Navy Veteran and served in the Korean War. He collected antique tractors and was very passionate about his hobby of restoring Allis Chalmers Tractors. Homer worked for A&H Truck Lines and retired after 30 dedicated years.

Homer is survived by his Son, Russell D. Taylor; grandchildren, Lauren M. Taylor, Kristen Coomes, and Sonny Tucker Taylor; sister, Peggy Williams; nephew Al Williams (Jackie) and niece, Olivia King (Jerry).

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service. Serving as Pallbearers are, Billy Ray, David Fehd, Sonny Tucker Taylor, Jerry King, Tony Minton, and Perry Alvey.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Western Kentucky Veteran's Center. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
