Hillary A. Wedding

Hillary Adrian Wedding, 86, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011 in Owensboro. He was born in 1925, in Hartford, Ky., the son of the late George and Louvenia Wedding. Hillary entered the United States Army in 1943, served in Central Europe during World War II and received an honorable discharge in 1945. In 1947, he married Kathryn Jones of Owensboro. In 1953, Hillary and Kathryn moved to Northwest Indiana where he was employed by Inland Steel until retiring in 1983. They then moved back to Owensboro giving him lots of time to hunt and fish.

Also preceding him in death was his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Kathryn on January 10, 2009, a half brother, Deward Wedding, brothers Gene and Floyd Wedding, brothers-in-law, Elvis Jones and Tom Payne, and a sister-in-law, Swan Tyler.

His memory is cherished by his daughter, Caryon (Bill) Arden of Portage, In., a son, Adrian Jr. Wedding of Owensboro, a grandson, Shawn (Stephanie) Arden of Ohio, and his precious great granddaughter, Charlotte Arden.

Other surviving relatives are brothers, Audry (Charlene) Wedding of Lake Village, In., Barb (Judy) Wedding of Niles, Michigan, Byron (Dot) Wedding of Fordsville, and Kenneth Wedding of Owensboro, brothers-in-law, Frank (Linda) Jones of Owensboro and Buddy (Lisa) Jones of Indianapolis, sister-in-law Margaret Payne of Owensboro along with many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be 12 Noon Monday, February 7, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday until time of service.
