Hilda Kay Howell

Hilda Kay Howell, 64, of 3507 Hawthorne Drive, Owensboro died Sunday, November 11, 2001 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN from injuries suffered in an August 26, 2001 automobile accident in Tullahoma, TN. She was born March 1, 1937 in Ennis, KY the daughter of Thomas and Oma Benton Robinson.

Mrs. Howell was a caregiver at Kiddie Academy, was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church and enjoyed Kentucky Basketball.

Survivors include her husband Don Howell; a son, Don Howell, Jr. of Petaluma, CA; a daughter, Debbie Slemp of Johnson City, TN; two grandsons; two brothers, Wilbur Robinson of Greenville and Johnnie Robinson of Cedar Park, TX; four sisters, Anna B. Prince of Pleasure Ridge Park, June McClearn of Atlanta, Donna Holloway of Maceo and Carolyn Thomas of Williston, SC; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Brother Mike Rust. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2001 and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
