Herman Lee Moss, 83, of Owensboro, passed away April 10, 2016 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born July 27, 1932 in Daviess County to the late A.O. Stanley and Alta Hulsey Moss, Herman was a retired farmer, loved life, and was a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church. He and his wife loved to dance. Herman enjoyed all animals and was an active, loving man who was always smiling. He had many friends and wanted everyone to be happy. Herman is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Moss; sister, Lula Mae Fort; step-daughter, Jennifer Osburn; great-granddaughter, Angel Combs; son-in-law, Warren Calhoun, and daughter-in-law, Joanie Moss.
He is survived by his wife of more than 15 years, Vicki Hunt Moss; sons, Michael Moss of Owensboro and Keith H, Moss and his wife, Lisa of Kennesaw, GA; daughters, Vickie Calhoun and Kathy Blandford and her husband, Keith, all of Owensboro; step-son, Randall Quinn and his wife, Judy of Haverluck, NC; grandchildren, Jeremy Calhoun and his wife Tiffany, Jason Calhoun and his wife Shelly, Marcus Calhoun and his wife Mindy, Jarrod Moss and his wife Julie, Jennifer Wright and her husband Todd, Christi McCarthy and her husband Ray, Stacy Combs and her husband Brian, Holly Blandford, Jacob Moss and Abigail Moss; step-grandson, Hunter Quinn and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Walnut Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Eugene Howard officiating. Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
