Herbert Charles Schueler

Herbert Charles Schueler, 75, of Owensboro, died Saturday, December 29, 2001 at his home. The Lanesville, Ind. (Harrison County) native retired from Arvin Industries after 371/2 years serving in various management positions at the Columbus, Ind. and Princeton, KY locations. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church; the Knights of Columbus (a member 40 years in Owensboro, KY, Columbus, IN, and Princeton, KY). He served as Financial Secretary for the K of C while in Princeton. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club in Princeton and the Catholic Mens Club in Columbus. He was a disabled Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Catherine Fessel Schueler; five sons, Thomas Schueler of Windsor, CO, Robert Schueler of Painesville, OH, Daniel Schueler of Lexington, KY, Gary Schueler of Jasper, IN, and John Schueler of Owensboro, KY; a daughter, Donna Schueler Murphy of Owensboro; seven grandchildren; two brothers,
Francis Schueler of Lanesville, IN and George Schueler of Corydon, IN; two sisters, Mary Louise Litch of New Albany, IN and Bernice Barr of Floyds Knobs, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 11 A.M. Monday, December 31, 2001 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Owensboro with entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 12:30 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Sunday, December 30, 2001 and after 9 A.M. on Monday, December 31. Parish prayers will be at 6 P.M. Sunday and Knights of Columbus at 7 P.M. on Sunday.
