Henry S. Stallings

Henry S. Stallings, 59, of Owensboro, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, at his home. He was born September 19, 1949 to the late Andrew and Mary Keller Stallings in Daviess County. He was an Navy Veteran of the VietNam War and enjoyed bird watching, reading and was a UofL fan.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Patrick and Joseph Stallings.

Survivors include his sons, Henry Lazana, and Andrew Stallings, both of Owensboro, his daughter, Sherry Lane Hoffman of New Orleans, LA; a grandson, Parker Andrew Stallings; his brothers and sisters, Theresa Daugherty of Greenville, KY, Carol Snyder of Owensboro, Mary Arnold of Owensboro, Richard Stallings of Knottsville, Iris Towery of Owensboro, and Phillip Stallings of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
