Henry Cleveland Denning

Henry Cleveland H.C. Denning, Jr., 82, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Daviess County on October 19, 1923 to the late H.C. and Irene Faxon Denning, he was retired from Glenmore Distillery and a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Denning was a Kentucky Colonel and loved to tinker around in his garage. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Gatewood Denning in 2002.

Mr. Denning is survived by a daughter, Deborah Ann Denning of Owensboro. Cousins, David Faxon of Bowling Green and Dudley Cooper of Owensboro; a special friend, Rusty Hagan of Owensboro.

Services are 10:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home officiated Dr. Glenn Sowards, where visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday and after 8:30 AM on Saturday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
