Henrietta Billie Quinn, 93, of 3058 Waterside Way, Owensboro, died Monday, October 16, 2006 at Harborside Health Care. Mrs. Quinn was born in Stanley to the late Henry Carl and Beulah Frances Hundley Saalwaechter. She was married November 12, 1934 to William Leslie Quinn who preceded her in death on August 23, 1983. Mrs Quinn was a baker and retired from the Cheesecake Factory, Canoga Park ,California in 1985. She was a member of the Reseda Baptist Church in Reseda, CA., and was active in Galileans Bible study class. She was also preceded in death by seven siblings, John Saalwaechter, Margaret Beaty, Catherine, Harry, Samuel, Paul, and J.W. Saalwaechter.
Mrs. Quinn is survived by sons, William Leslie Quinn, Arthur Lee Quinn, James Gordon Quinn, daughter Deloris Jean Stitz and husband Robert, all of Owensboro, and a daughter Alta Mae Robinson and husband, Jack of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, and surviving brothers, Arthur and Mary Lee Saalwaechter, Joseph and Theresa Saalwaechter, J.C. and Catherine Saalwaechter, and Kenneth and Lena Saalwaechter, all of Owensboro, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 20, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy may be given to the donors favorite charity.
