Henrietta Galloway Wilkerson Miller

April 26, 1912 — February 23, 2009

Henrietta Wilkerson Miller, 96, of Owensboro passed away Monday, February 23, 2009 at her home. Born April 26, 1912 in McLean County, she was the daughter of the late David and Nettie Crabtree Galloway; was retired from General Electric where she worked for 21 years; was a member of Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and attended Owensboro Christian Church in Owensboro. Mrs. Miller loved flower gardening, especially her roses, and visiting her family and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Miller; a son, James Thomas Wilkerson, Jr.; grandsons, Roy Thomas Kirk, Byron Martin and Douglas Kirk; brothers, Delbert Galloway, Duval Galloway, Irvin Galloway, Logan Galloway, and Eulyce Galloway; and a sister, Myrtle "Sis" Galloway.

Survivors include a son, Curtis (Joyce) Wilkerson of Owensboro; daughters, Odetta (Bill) Martin, Linda (Carl) Hayden of Owensboro and Patty Kirk all of Owensboro 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2009 at Owensboro Christian Church followed by burial in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sacramento. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday and 9 - 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Glenn Funeral Home.
