Henrietta Savako Arn died Sunday November 7, 2004 at the Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro, KY. She was born February 4, 1918 in Cleveland, OH. She served as a U.S. Army nurse during World War II and after marriage moved to Dearborn Heights, MI where she worked as a registered nurse at Garden City Hospital. In retirement, she moved to Owensboro, KY to be with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Arn, her parents, Theodore and Blanche Savako, and her brothers, Conrad and Roman Savako. She is survived by her daughters, Denise J. Arn and Debra A. Sims, son-in-law, Dr. Gerald N. Sims, Jr., grandchildren, Paul A. Sims, Carl W. Sims, and Laura G. Sims, her sister and brother-in-law, Stella S. Dejonivich and John Dejonivich, and her brother and sister-in-law; Theodore Savako and Regina Savako.
Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. There will be no services or visitation. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
