Helen Faye Williamson

Helen Faye Williamson, 60, of 4635 Sidney Lane, Owensboro, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Evansville to the late Leroy and Margaret (Cartwright) Shockley. Ms. Williamson loved plants and flowers, shopping, cooking, and going to Gulf Shores. She was a very strong willed individual.
Surviving are her daughter; JoAnn Ellis of Calhoun, a son; Ronnie Williamson of Carmi, Illinois, her longtime live in companion; James Hawkins of Owensboro, Grandchildren; Summer Alvey and Derek Williamson of Livermore, Amy and Marissa Ellis of Calhoun and a great-granddaughter; Breelie Alvey of Livermore, a sister; Barbara Shockley and brothers; Leroy, Donnie, and Robert Shockley, all of Evansville.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008 with Rev. Alan Shouse officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice Association Memorial Fund.
