Helen Boling Mccoy

Helen Boling McCoy, 90 of Owensboro , died Friday, August 17, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was a native of Daviess County , born to the late Anthony and Jane (Basham) Logsdon. She was a homemaker and a member of Living Faith Baptist Church. She loved quilting, was a member of the Ohio County Homemaker's Association, taught Sunday School and Bible School for 25 years.
Her first husband, Jesse Boling preceded her in death in 1975, a son , Donald Earl Boling in 1950, and her second husband, Hiram McCoy in 1986.
Surviving are her children; Betty Jenkins of Evansville, IN, Joyce Hessler of Owensboro, Janet (Fred) Hoagland and Ethel Bartlett both of Lakeland, FL, Sandra (Steve) Garrett of Maurepas, LA, and Jesse L. (Betty) Boling of Pellville, Ky, a sister , Mae Basham of Maceo, and a brother Edward ( Mary) Logsdon of Owensboro, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. James Wedding officiating and burial following in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and after 12:00 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society and online condolences may be left at ww.glennfuneralhome.com.
