Helen Louise Lambert

Helen Louise Ams Lambert, 88, passed away Friday, December 2, 2005 at Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Daviess County on April 6, 1917, Mrs. Lambert was the daughter of the late John Edward Ams, Sr. and Mary Christine Schaefer Ams; and was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ralph Lambert, Sr. and a sister, Mary Alice Ams, a brother, John Edward Ams, and an aunt Ada Schaefer.

Survivors include her children, Paul R. Lambert, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Chesterfield, MO., Rebecca Carrico and her husband David, and Janice Jan Lambert Matthis, of Owensboro; grandchildren; Lisa Brown, Christopher Lambert, Amy Tsappis, Carrie Hatch, Eric Jones, Noel Jones, Jennifer Donaldson, Ryan Carrico, Aaron Matthis, and Jon Michael Matthis, great-grandchildren; William Brown, Daniel Brown, Tally Brown, Gabriella Tsappis, Emma Louise Hatch, Kayla Jones, Cameron Jones, Caroline Jones, and Clayton Jones. .

Services are 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church officiated by Father Freddie Byrd followed by entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home with prayers at 6:00 p.m. Visitation Tuesday, will be after 10 a.m.
