Helen Ryan Hazelrigg

Helen Ryan Hazelrigg, 85, of Ft.Thomas, formerly of Owensboro, died May 23, 2016 at Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. Mrs. Hazelrigg was born August 31, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James and Mary Alice Ryan. She led a servant's life devoted to the care of her daughter, Kim.

Mrs. Hazelrigg was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ney S. "Buddy" Hazelrigg in 2011 and brother Edwin Arnold Ryan in 1984.

Survivors include her son, Mark Hazelrigg and wife Kim of Ft. Thomas; daughter, Kimberly Ann Hazelrigg of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer, and Rachel Hazelrigg all of Ft. Thomas; sister, Doris Smarsch and husband Steve of Lorain, Ohio.

The service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 28 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Darren Brandon officiating. Visitation will also be Saturday from 11:00 till 2:00. Entombment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
