Helen Grace Burge

Helen Grace Burge, 76, of Owensboro, died Friday, December 9, 2005, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born January 26, 1929, to the late William and Mable Dexter Logsdon in Muhlenberg County. She was a UK basketball fan, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Burge on October 8, 2002, and a daughter, Brenda Mason on January 2, 1991.

Survivors include her son, Steve Burge and his wife, Debra, of Owensboro; daughters, Ann Duggins and her husband, Rodney, of Reed, Betty Walkosak and her husband, Russell of Owensboro; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Bumps of Central City and Sharon Johnson of Dobson, NC; one brother, Billy Logsdon of Indianapolis, IN.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 until 8:00 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 1900 Richmond Avenue, Lexington, KY, 40502.
