Hazel Howard Boling

Hazel Howard Boling, 81 of Pleasant Ridge passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Daviess County on May 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Emerine Howard; member of the First Church of God Pleasant Ridge; was a homemaker; and enjoyed gardening, collecting angels and especially spending time with her family . Mrs. Boling was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Virgil Boling, on Aug 13, 2007; a son, Jerry Lynn Boling, grandsons, Christopher Boling and Timothy Boling and her brother, Clyde Howard, who also passed away on November 3, 2007 in Texas.

She is survived by a son, Gene (and Charlene) Boling of Hartford; daughters, Carolyn (and W.R.) Worthington of Panther, Katie (and Steve) Spurrier of Maceo, and Darlene Barnett of Owensboro; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren;-.

Services are 10 A.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home with Brother J. Harold Harness officiating followed by burial in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Monday and after 9 A.M. on Tuesday.
