Harrison Wayne Johnson

Harrison Wayne Johnson, 69, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at his home. He was born July 11, 1948 in Madisonville to the late Harrison Wayne and Daisy Marie Johnson. Wayne was retired from the City of Owensboro, enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and being outdoors. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Johnson in 2011 and a brother-in-law, Jerry Uzzle in 2009.

Surviving are his children, Kim Payne, Cindy Aud, Kristy Mimms and husband Butchie, and Chuck Johnson and wife Shelly, all of Owensboro, seven grandchildren, Katelyn Payne, Chelsea Aud, Cameron Aud, Christopher Mattingly, Marika Bell, Jordan Johnson, and Madison Johnson, five great grandchildren, Aubrey Bishop, Alani Bell, Paisley Aud, and Madison and Miles Slaton, and two sisters, Ella Mae Durham and husband Charlie of Nortonville and Judy Uzzle of Earlington.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 25, in Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
