Harold Bruce Swift

Harold B. Swift, age 70 of Owensboro went to his heavenly home. Harold was born on January 2, 1945 in Owensboro to the late Cecil and Mamie (Phelps) Swift.

Harold was employed at Don Moore Collision Center for over 25 years as an Auto Body Specialist. Harold enjoyed building toy tractors and attending tractor shows, old westerns, and spending time with his family and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Emma L. Swift in 2012, brothers and sisters: Paul Swift, Junior Swift, Lonis Keithley, Irene Roach, Juanita Holmes, Callie Rose Swift, Hayden Swift; his daughter: Crystal Connor; grandchildren: Breanna Ebelhar, Nicholas Payne Johnson, Brandon Payne Johnson.

Harold is survived by his children: Barry (Dara) Swift, Vicki (Jimbo) Ellis, Timothy Payne Swift, Janet (Jeff Ebelhar) Rice, Mischelle (Donnie) Simon, Melanie (Steve) Nave, and Stephen (Deanie) May. 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a brother: Gene Swift. Many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. He had several very close friends including Skip Duncan that he thought of as his son, and his closest companion Cinnamon, his Sheltie.

Memorial services will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Saturday from 12pm - 2pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy in the form of donations can be given to First Free Will Baptist Church or Church of the Living God.
