Harold W. Carman, 96, formerly of 72 Colonial Ct., Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare. He was born in Breckenridge Co., Ky. to the late Steve & Ollie Wilson Carman. He was retired as an operator with the Hon Co. after about 30 years and enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member and deacon of Hawesville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tresa Burk Carman on May 7, 1966 and his second wife Troas Carman in June of 2000.
Surviving is his daughter and her husband, Betty Jo & Clarence Price of Owensboro, two brothers, James Carman of Philpot and David Carman of Mitchell, In., three grandchildren, Brent Price of Atlanta, Ga., Tammy & husband Carl Glahn and Tresa and husband Brian Wethington, all of Owensboro, and two great grandchildren, Jacob & Morgan Wethington.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 19 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
