Harold David Birdsley

Harold David Birdsley, 82, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at his home. He was born in Cordova, Illinois to the late Everett and Alice Birdsley.
Harold retired after fifty-two years as a truck driver. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Harold enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, restoring old John Deere tractors and going to antique truck shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Arleen and Karen Birdsley; a brother, Larry Birdsley; and step-son, Tony Molnar.
Harold is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rebecca Birdsley; three daughters, Teresa Kinney (Matt) of Chillicothe, IL, Cheryl Akers (Ted) of Princeton, IL and Breann Birdsley (Brian) of Princeton, IL; four sons, Steve Birdsley (Delois) of Princeton, IL, Tom Birdsley (Mary) of Harvard, IL, Michael Birdsley of Princeton, IL and Jason Birdsley (Kari) of Sherwood, OR; three step-daughters, Fran Rickard (Gale) of Philpot, KY, Kay Hayden (Marvin) of Frankfort, KY and Tori Duff (Tom) of Newburgh, IN; two step-sons, Frank Molnar, Jr. and Tim Molnar (Bridgette), both of Owensboro; twenty-four grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilou Simpson of Rock Island, IL and Mildred Hillard of Peoria, IL; step-sister, Beulah Porter of Morrison, IL; and step-brother, Richard Neer (Jane) of Chesapeake, Virginia.

The funeral service will be at Noon, Tuesday, December 17 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be Monday from 3:00 until 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 until Noon. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
