Harold E. Bailey

Harold Edwin Bailey, 99, of 2329 Bittel Road, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio and had been a Petroleum Producer, a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist, a lifetime member of Sigma Chi at Ohio State University, and a lifetime member of the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association. His parents, Joshua and Mary Fisher Bailey, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Adell Bowman Bailey; one son, Harold B. Bailey of Owensboro; one daughter, Mary Phoebe Athey, of Owensboro; and one granddaughter, Laura Ann Bailey of Owensboro.

Services will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. in Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. There will not be any visitation on Sunday. Burial will be in Worthington Chapel Cemetery.
