Hannah Stanley Wells

Hannah Stanley Wells, 84, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her home. She was born September 22, 1933 in Ohio Co. to the late Dr. Eugene E. and Florence Turley Stanley. Hannah was a member of Dawson Baptist Church and was a retired manager and server with the Gabe's Restaurants and the Briarpatch Restaurant. She loved her fellowship with her friends at Garden Grace Assisted Living, playing rook, and U.K. basketball. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Wells on March 6, 2013.

Surviving are her sons, Dr. Ron Wells and wife Karen of Alvaton and Rick Wells and wife Kathy of Owensboro, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Services will be Noon Wednesday, January 3, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
