H. C. Boswell

H. C. Boswell of 2320 Reid Road, Owensboro died Monday, January 6, 2002 at his home. He was born in Ohio County, Kentucky the son of Alex and Effie Mitchell Boswell.

Mr. Boswell retired from Green River Steel after 29 years and enjoyed yard work, farm work and helping others.

Survivors include two sons, Carl Joe Boswell of Utica and James Boswell of Owensboro; four grandchildren; a brother, Frank Boswell of Dundee; and a sister, Lorena Westerfield of Benton.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Joe Kitchens. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 07, 2003 and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
