H. Steven Blevins

H. Steven Blevins, 49, of Henderson died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at his home. The son of Harry Blevins of Bedford, IN and the late Stella Jones Blevins, he was born January 8, 1952 in Owensboro.

He worked for the city of Henderson in gas measurement and distribution and was a Shriner. He enjoyed Indiana University sports, fishing, motorcycle riding, gardening and family time.

Survivors include his companion, Katie Butts of Henderson; two sons, Scott Blevins and Steve Allen Blevins, both of Henderson; a daughter, Whitney Michelle Lovell of Bedford, IN; three grandchildren; his father, Harry Blevins of Bedford, IN; a brother, Mark L. Blevins of Franklin, IN; and a sister, Valorie Stein of Orleans, IN; 1 niece and 1 nephew.

The family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 13, 2001. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Brushy Fork Cemetery.
