Guy F. Rosecrans

Guy F. Goat Rosecrans, 77, of 809 Poindexter Street, Owensboro, died Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Daviess County on May 28, 1925 the son of Orville and Esther Stewart Rosecrans. His wife, Louise Dillingham Rosecrans, preceded him in death on December 28, 1976.

Mr. Rosecrans had worked for Ellis Estate and carnivals. He was a Baptist and an Army Veteran of World War II.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Rosecrans of Owensboro, Terry Rosecrans of Henderson and Paul Rosecrans of Kentucky; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a niece.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2002 at Calhoun Cemetery. His family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home.
