Gretchen Dorn Cornell

Mrs. Gretchen Dorn Cornell, 91, of Monroe, Louisiana (formerly of Owensboro), died March 9, 2001 at her residence. The Ohio Co., Kentucky native was the daughter of the late Hardin and Pearlie Mitchell Ashley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur M. Cornell and her brother Bobby Ashley.


A member of Beuna Vista Baptist Church of Owensboro, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by 2 sons: Donald Cornell of Monroe, LA and Arthur B. Cornell of High Point, NC.

Friends may call at Glenn Funeral Home from 10-11:30 A.M., Monday, March 12, 2001. Funeral services will be at 11:30 at the funeral home with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
