Grace Porter

Grace Porter, One Park Place, Owensboro, died Saturday, December 6, 2008, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born to the late Willis and Collie Tucker Porter in McLean County. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of W.S.C.S. and a member of the X,Y,Z Club. She was employed at R. L. Weldon Drug Store for many years and retired from Danhauer Drug Store after 24 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, May and Clarise Porter.

She is survived by several cousins, and many special friends.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and after 8:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2160 Griffith Avenue, Owensboro, KY 42301.
