Mrs. Grace Ann Lucas, 78, of 3856 Bordeaux Loop S., Owensboro, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Ohio native was a retired telephone operator at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, PA. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pittsburg; a veteran of World War II and member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Verner Lucas; a son, James Keith Lucas of Wichita, KS; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Ann Powers of Owensboro and Susan Jean Tumey of Niceville, FL; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a brother, William T. Gibson of Salem, OH.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Saturday, May 19, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Firends may call at the fuenral home from 3-8 P.M., Friday, May 18 and after 8:30 A.M., Saturday, May 19.
