Grace Underwood Gregory

Grace Underwood Gregory, 88, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born on Nov. 13, 1921 in Livia, Ky. to the late Bernice and Sally Ann Troutman Underwood. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was raised on a farm in Livia and loved all animals especially dogs and cats. She and her husband raised chickens and delivered and sold eggs in Owensboro once a week on Wednesdays. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William B. Gregory, Jr. on February 5, 1975.

Surviving are her brothers and sisters, W. C. Underwood and wife Gilla and Garnett Underwood and wife Norma, all of Livia, Alma Tomes of Owensboro, Mary Virginia Boyken, formerly of Livermore but now of Birmingham, AL., and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
