Golda Mae Chapman

December 8, 1913 — February 6, 2002

Golda Mae Chapman, 88, formerly of Masonville, Kentucky, died Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at Bowling Green Medical Center. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on December 18, 1913 the daughter of Ben and Pricilla Culver Smith. Mrs. Chapman was a member of the Catholic faith. Her husband, Orville Chapman preceded her in death on February 27, 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Kelly Chapman of Morgantown, KY and Don Chapman of Owensboro; two daughters, Nancy Cox of Palisade, CO and Lynda Herrington of Bowling Green, KY; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Three sisters also survive her, Pauline Ferguson of Masonville, KY, Catherine Bryant of Owensboro and Louise Scherm of Henderson, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
