Steve Fuchs
Glenward Stevens Fuchs, Jr., 60, of Utica, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born July 4, 1947, Mr. Fuchs was a Surveyor; a 1965 graduate of Owensboro Senior High where he was the catcher on the State Championship Baseball team that year; attended Western Kentucky University; and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and making his own fishing flies. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenward Stevens Fuchs, Sr..
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debby Crowson Fuchs; children, Glenward (and Lynnette) Fuchs, III of Philpot, Laura Lee (and Eugene) Porter of Tampa, FL, and David (and Ashley) Bradfield, Jr. of Washington, DC; his mother, Emma Lou Fuchs of Owensboro; grandchildren, Glenward Stevens Fuchs, IV, Emily Louise Fuchs, Bethany Porter, Kelsey Porter, Brinlee Porter, Taylor Bradfield, Jacob Bradfield, and Gracie Bradfield; and a sister and brother-in-law, Joy (Hobbs) and Sam Miller of Owensboro.
Services are 6 P.M. Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home with Dr. Greg Faulls officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7 P.M. Monday and after 4 P.M. on Tuesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Bellevue Baptist Church Building Fund.
