Glenn Runyon

Glenn Runyon, 47 of Owensboro, died Friday, January 8, 2010 at Owensboro Medical Health System after a lengthy battle with cancer and kidney disease. He enjoyed fishing, watching television and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father Gobel Runyon on October 20, 1987.
He is survived by his mother Jonell Runyon; a brother, Steve Runyon; a sister; Linda Runyon; his loving companion of 27 years, Renetta Kaye James; a daughter, Carrie (Jessie) Dean; a son; David James and grandchildren; Jonathan and Hannah Crite, and Dasmane Dean. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Mike Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
