Glen Roosevelt Roe
November 2, 1936 — September 23, 2001
Glen R. Roe, 64, of 247 Curtis Street, Lewisport, died Sunday, September 23, 2001 at his home. The Ezel, KY native was retired as a groundskeeper for Windridge and Owensboro Country Clubs. He enjoyed fishing, stock car racing and UK basketball.
He is survived by his companion, Billie Jean Kline; four sons, Preston Roe of Jasper, IN, Timothy Roe of Stevens Point, WI, Leslie Roe of Clintonville, IN, and Randy Chrisman of Loogootee, IN; four brothers, Hershel Roe, Drexel Roe, and Jessie Roe all of Middletown, OH, and Paul Roe of Jeffersonville, KY; one grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 11 A.M. on Wednesday.
