Ott, Gladys Montague, 90, widow of George Ott, died Sun., Aug.26, 2007 in Owensboro, KY. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Henry & Henrietta Montague. Mrs. Ott was a consummate business woman, working with her husband in their grocery on Rosemont Garden and various properties. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed bird watching and her weekly bridge club.
She is survived by her daughter, Bette Ott (Paul Sonny) Corum, Owensboro; grandchildren, Monty (Cindy) Ott, Todd (Gail) Ott and Michael Ott, all of Lexington, Elizabeth Corum, Atlanta, GA and Paul (Tasha) Corum III, Lexington; great grandchildren, Chad and Whitney Ott, Christian and Chandler Ott, and Samuel and Andrew Corum. She was preceded in death by a son, George Ott Jr, and sister, Elizabeth Jackson. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tues. at the Lexington Cemetery. W.R.
