Gladys B. Edmonson

Gladys B. Edmonson, 96, of Alvaton, Ky. formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008 at Britthaven Nursing Home in Bowling Green. She was born in Metcalfe Co., Ky. to the late Eugene and Eudora James Boston and was a homemaker. She was a member of the former Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Edmonson.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Betty Sue Gould of Florida, a sister, Muriel Carter of Alvaton, a brother, Royce Boston of Mt. Sterling, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery in Daviess Co. Visitation will be from 2:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
