Gladys H. Duplantis

Gladys H. Duplantis, 77, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born September 29, 1938 in Waelder, TX to the late Homer and Robbie McVea Hoffman. Gladys had worked for many years and was retired as a cook at Mount St. Joseph. She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed sewing. She especially was very dedicated to and loved her family very much.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Dallas J. Duplantis, two daughters, Clo Cammarata and husband Paul of Columbia, S.C. and Kati Duplantis Bozik and husband Roman of Murray, a son, Jason P. Duplantis and wife Joni of Owensboro, four grandchildren, Joseph Cammarata, Rebekah Duplantis, Roman and Sophie Bozik, and a brother, Conley Hoffman of Denver, CO.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Chapel of Rosehill Cemetery followed by burial there. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
