Gladys Camp Dickens, 80, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Daviess County on April 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Glover and Gladys Clarke Camp; was a very active member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church; and was retired from Mullen-Haynes where she worked in data entry for over 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Allen Blake Camp and David Camp, and sisters, Ann Hayden and Eula Miller.
Surviving Mrs. Dickens are her children, Marla Hager of Edgewater, FL, Michael Dickens of Plano, TX, Myron Dickens of Gainesville, FL, Kevin Dickens of Philpot, and Gina Dickens of Whitesville; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 12 noon Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Watson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-4 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church.
