Gladie Voyne Yeiser

Gladie Voyne Yeiser, 80 of Owensboro, was called home by her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Signature Healthcare—Hillcrest in Owensboro. She was born October 28, 1935 in Uniontown to the late Frank Logan Yewell and Gladie Voyne Flener Yewell. Voyne was retired after 20 years with South Central Bell and was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed eating out, but loved cooking and was an excellent cook and loved being home. Voyne was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hagan "Bob" Yeiser on July 2, 1989 and a brother-in-law, George Moye.

Surviving are her son, Bob G. Yeiser and wife Ruth Ann of Owensboro, her daughter, Cynthia Yeiser of Owensboro, three grandchildren, Traci (Perry) Weedman, Aaron (Ami) Yeiser, and Brandon (Courtney) Yeiser, all of Owensboro, seven great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Courtney, and Logan Weedman, and Hagan, Hope, Hadli, and Lincoln Yeiser, all of Owensboro, three sisters, Avis Moye of Owensboro, Edna Anderson of Owensboro, and Barbara Withrow and husband Corky of Owensboro, two brothers, Elmer Yewell and wife Jaye of Paducah and Frank Yewell and wife Phyllis of Pleasant Ridge, sisters-in-law, Marjorie Wallace and husband Jack of Georgetown and Doreen Yeiser of Virginia Beach, VA, and a brother-in-law, John Yeiser of Virginia Beach.

Services will be Noon Tuesday, September 27, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
