Gilbert L. Gil Husk, 41, of 1936 E. 6th Street, Owensboro, died Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born August 13, 1960 in Daviess Co., KY the son of Gilbert and Dorothy Hanks Husk.
Mr. Husk graduated from Daviess County High School in 1979, he loved black powder shooting, deer hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Dorothy and Gilbert Husk of Owensboro; and one sister, Erma Hanks of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Ron Prater. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery. His family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2001 and also after 10:00 a.m. Friday.
