Gilbert Raymond Brown

Gilbert R. Pete Brown, 88, of 4411 Wayne Bridge Rd, Owensboro, died Thursday, April 26, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Muhlenberg County native was retired from Chrysler Corporation in St Louis, Mo. And had also worked as a coal miner for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting American Indian relics, visiting his friends and going to the mall.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby R. Brown of Owensboro and Rondal L. Brown of Scottsville, KY; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M., Saturday, April 28, 2001 at Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens with entombment in the Christ Chapel Mausoleum. There will be no visitation.
