Gertrude W. Leonard

Gertrude Leonard, 76, 2324 North Stratford Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born November 19, 1929 to the late Ted and Ruby Hoover Wells in Daviess County. She was a member of Parrish Avenue Baptist Church and was retired from General Electric.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Leonard in May 16, 2001.

Survivors include her sons, David Leonard and Danny Leonard, both of Owensboro; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; her sisters, Gwen Midkiff of Falls of Rough and Mary Oost of Panama City, FL.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
