Gertrude Klopka Ischer

Gertrude Klopka Ischer, 91, died Monday, March 19, 2007, at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She attended Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Milton W. Ischer on October 21, 1997.

Survivors include her daughter, Marian Bennett and her husband, Don, of Owensboro, KY; sons, Don Ischer of Roseville, MN; Jim Ischer and his wife, Nancy, of Pine Springs, MN; and Bill Ischer and his wife, Joan, of West Saint Paul, MN; nine grandchildren, David Bennett of Shepherdsville, KY; Laura Shea and her husband, John, of Ogdensburg, NY; Jenni Neumann and her husband, Scot, of Inver Grove Heights, MN; Amy Schmidt and her husband, Brett, of Woodbury, MN; Emily Kuegel and her husband, Bart, of Dale, IN; Alex Bennett and his wife, Jennifer, of Louisville, KY; Jamie Ischer of Seattle, WA; Stephanie Ischer and Keith Ischer of Pine Springs, MN; and ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Lupien of Sidney, OH.

Visitation is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Mueller-Bies North Chapel, 2130 N. Dale St., Roseville, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, St. Paul, MN, followed by burial at Roselawn Cemetery, St. Paul, MN.
