Geraldine Grady Lewis, 92, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Genesis Owensboro Center. She was born on February 27, 1921 in Daviess Co., to the late Franklin and Gertrude Hayden Grady. Geraldine was retired from General Electric after 35 years of service and was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, and embroidery. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lewis in 2009, three sons, Joe and James Bradley and James O. Patterson, and a daughter, Patricia Patterson.
Surviving are two sons, Paul Patterson and wife Joyce and Jerry Bradley and wife Sandy, all of Owensboro, a daughter, Darlene Patterson of Owensboro, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 39 great great grandchildren, one great great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 1, at Precious Blood Catholic Church with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday with prayers at 5:30 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
